In November, 2010, the GOP took control of Congress with one word: jobs. Since that fateful event, they have not created one job. What they have done is wage an almost relentless war on women, the poor, the LGBT community and anyone who does not fit the GOP’s narrow view of what an American should be. No more.
We are all in this fight together, and this August, we will gather as one to tell the GOP, "no more". We will not close our eyes, we will not be compared to livestock, we will not be told who we can marry and who we can love and we will not be told a fetus is more important than our lives.
If you see yourself in the long list of people the GOP wish would just go away, join us in August as we march on Washington DC. We Are Woman, and we are gay, straight, black, white, men, women, Republican and Democrat. We are from all corners of the country, and from overseas, we are strong and passionate and smart and angry and tough.
